Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the construction of infrastructure upgrades to support the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center.

The goal of this project is to enhance facility infrastructure in accordance with VA OEHRM Site Infrastructure Requirements, ensuring that the facility meets modern healthcare technology standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes a variety of construction tasks aimed at upgrading the facility's infrastructure. Key tasks include:

- Electrical panel upgrades
- Installation of normal and emergency power systems
- Bonding
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) installations
- Integration with building management systems
- Assessment and upgrades to existing HVAC systems
- Reconfiguration and renovation of existing spaces including demolition and new construction
- Installation of communication infrastructure such as new data outlets and patch panels
- Upgrading to Cat 6A cabling
- Physical upgrades throughout the campus
- Assessment and upgrade of fiber infrastructure campus-wide within buildings and between buildings
- Hazardous material abatement.

The project will take place in specific buildings including Buildings 1, 5, 19, 21, as well as the Lawton and Friendship House sites.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and must complete all work within 730 calendar days following the notice to proceed.
