Description

NCR-WOTR: REPLACE NEMA CABINETS
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Wolf Trap National Park (WOTR) for the Performing Arts needs to replace existing NEMA 3R Electrical Cabinets and the internal electrical components within them. The cabinets house the electrical circuits that supply power to the parking lot lights among other things. Both were installed more than 40 years ago and have long exceeded their expected lifespan.

Work Details
The purpose of this scope is to replace existing NEMA 3R Electrical Cabinets and the internal electrical components within them. The work includes removing and properly disposing of existing NEMA 3R Electrical Cabinets, relocating the East Parking Lot panel to a new location, installing new NEMA 3R cabinets, rerouting all electrical circuits and conduits, installing new internal components in the cabinets, performing appropriate testing to ensure proper functioning of all circuits, and removing and properly disposing of all debris generated during the installation of the new NEMA 3R Cabinets. The work areas are in close proximity to the East and West parking lots at Wolf Trap National Park.
