The U.S. Army Contracting Command-New Jersey (ACC-NJ) located at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems (OPM-CAS), posted solicitation W15QKN23R0008 on Nov 17, 2022, for 60mm M721/M767, 81mm M819, and the 81mm M816/M853Al Body Tube and Tail Cone (BTTC) assemblies. That contract opportunity was previously synopsized on SAM.gov under Notice ID WlSQKN-22-R-0005, however due to delays the solicitation was released in Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23). In an effort to increase competition and receipt of sufficient proposals, the Government is re-issuing the opportunity for the production and delivery of the 60mm M721/M767, 81mm M819, and the 81mm M816/M853Al Body Tube and Tail Cone (BTTC) assemblies under new solicitation number W15QKN23R0042 for 60 days. The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), in support of the Office of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS), proposes to award Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.203, limiting competition of the procurement to Small Businesses within the United States, for the manufacture and delivery of 60mm/81mm Illumination and 81mm Smoke Body Tubes and Tail Cones (BT and TC). It is anticipated that the solicitation will result in multiple, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with competitive delivery orders, over five (5) one (1) year Ordering Periods (up to two (2) awards). The contractor shall manufacture, produce, and deliver the 60mm/81mm BT and TC, components and assemblies using the Government (USG) Technical Data Package (TDP) in accordance with the Solicitation Statement of Work (SOW) at Section C and all Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. The contractor shall provide for all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform all requirements of the SOW and Request for Proposal (RFP) (solicitation).
