This request for information aims to gather details on the price and availability of suitable vessels to support the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy's mission of transporting clean petroleum.

Work Details
The MSC is seeking clean, U.S. or foreign-flagged, double-hull tankers equipped with an inert gas system and segregated ballast tanks. The vessels must have a minimum capacity of 270,000 barrels of F76 within designated cargo tanks that feature double-valve isolation. The primary mission is to transport clean petroleum. Minimum vessel characteristics include:

1. Age less than 20 years; vessels exceeding 15 years must be enrolled in a classification society’s condition assessment program and rated 2 or better.
