6-Month Extension (52.217-8) for Management Support Services

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, and in support of the Product Lead Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (PL AMIS) mission, Army Contracting Command - Rock Island executed a contract modification to extend the period of performance for the requirement for Management Support Services (AMSS-II). The AMSS-II task order provides customer support for Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movements System II (TC-AIMS II), Radio Frequency - In Transit Visibility (RF-ITV), Automatic Identification Technology Initiatives, and ordering parts associated with systems designed for DoD-wide logistics accountability. The 6-month extension will provide time to transfer the PL AMIS portfolio to the gaining units with no lapse in support.
