Background
The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Jackson, MS, is seeking to upgrade its Electronic Health Records Management infrastructure. This project aims to enhance the facility's capabilities in managing health records effectively and efficiently, aligning with the Department of Veterans Affairs' mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision, and transportation necessary to complete the project as per the provided construction specifications and drawings. Key tasks include:
- Installation of temporary partitions and protective measures to isolate the construction area.
- Implementation of negative pressure for dust control and acoustical separation to minimize disruption to ongoing hospital activities.
- Temporary modifications or relocation of existing systems to maintain life safety features such as exits, sprinkler systems, and alarm systems.
- Compliance with various codes and standards including NFPA 101: Life Safety Code 2015 Ed, IBC 2015 Ed, ANSI A17.1 2016 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ADA 2010, NEC (National Electric Code), VA Standards for Construction TIL, International Plumbing Code, and regulations from Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality and Mississippi Department of Health.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to complete the entire project within 600 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center located at 1500 East Woodrow Wilson Drive, Jackson, MS.
