Description

This Source Sought Notice (SSN) is issued for market information and planning for future acquisition in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). Responses to notice 36C26226Q1037 will improve the understanding of the Government s requirement and industry capabilities. It will enhance the Government s ability to obtain quality supplies and allow for potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government s requirement. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this notice cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Information received shall be safeguarded adequately from unauthorized disclosure. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide 2-Way radios IAW attached SSN 36C26226Q1037, and Statement of Work (SOW). Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide 2-Way radios for the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) employees.

The Electronics Section within Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Service requires additional handheld radios for specific staff members and police for official government use, facilitating communication across departments for day-to-day operations and during emergencies, thereby enhancing staff and patient safety.

Work Details
The contract includes the following deliverables:
- APX 900 UHFR1 Model 3 Handheld Radio, quantity: 15
- LI-ION batteries, quantity: 15
- Vendor programming for a quantity of 15 radios
- Software license for a quantity of 15 radios
- One-year standard warranty.

All items must be new and in working condition as specified by the part number and quantity in the Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE).
