Description

This Source Sought Notice (SSN) is issued for market information and planning for future acquisition in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). Responses to notice 36C26226Q1037 will improve the understanding of the Government s requirement and industry capabilities. It will enhance the Government s ability to obtain quality supplies and allow for potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government s requirement. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this notice cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Information received shall be safeguarded adequately from unauthorized disclosure. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide 2-Way radios IAW attached SSN 36C26226Q1037, and Statement of Work (SOW). Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) is seeking sources that can provide 2-Way radios as part of their mission to enhance communication for staff members and police at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS).

The handheld radios are essential for day-to-day operations and ensuring staff and patient safety during emergent situations.

Work Details
The contract includes the following specific products to be delivered:
- APX 900 UHFR1 Model 3 Handheld Radio, quantity 15
- LI-ION batteries, quantity 15
- Vendor programming for a quantity of 15 radios
- Software license for a quantity of 15 radios
- One-year Standard Warranty.

All items must be new and in working condition, and the vendor is responsible for providing these items as specified by the part number and quantity outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
