The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) AtlanticCharleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of a wide range of Audio Visual Technology Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment under RFP N65236-09-R-0019 to fulfill the explosive growth in new requirements for C4ISR solutions. The purpose of this material procurement is to provide SPAWARSYSCEN with rapid access to system components to be integrated into turnkey solutions to the warfighter with the objective fostering improvement initiatives that include, mission effectiveness, efficient utilization of resources, and volume discounts. The subject procurement will be solicited as a competitive, unrestricted, Commercial Item Multiple Award contracts in accordance with FAR Part 12. The anticipated contract type is indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ), firm- fixed price (FFP) commercial item contracts with a one-year base ordering period and four additional one-year option years. Actual funded requirements would be competed on a best value or low price technically acceptable basis among contract holders via delivery orders using technical specifications or brand name or equal descriptions.
