Pavilion Insulated Glass
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued solely for market research and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), and it does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 10, California Great Basin, Central California Area Office (CCAO) is seeking potential sources capable of fabricating and delivering insulated glass units for installation in a timber pavilion. The requirement is for the fabrication and delivery of custom insulated glass units sized to fit the end truss openings of a 24' x 50' pavilion.

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 10, California Great Basin, Central California Area Office (CCAO) is seeking potential sources capable of fabricating and delivering insulated glass units for installation in a timber pavilion.

The goal of this contract is to procure custom insulated glass units that will fit the end truss openings of a 24' x 50' pavilion, which has already been purchased and assembled by the Government.

Work Details
The requirement includes the fabrication and delivery of eight (8) insulated glass units with the following specifications:
- Each unit must be fully tempered insulated glass.
- Glass composition: ¼” Low‑E 355 over ¼” clear.
- Overall thickness: 1 inch.
- The contractor must field verify all dimensions prior to fabrication, as drawings provided are general and approximate. Final dimensions must be based on verified field measurements.
- There should be a ½ inch clearance on all edges between glazing units and existing timber framing to allow for natural expansion, structural movement, and settling.
- Delivery will be made to Central California Area Office at 7794 Folsom Dam Road, Folsom, CA 95630.
