Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, specifically the Northern California Area Office (NCAO), is seeking to enhance the training capabilities of its Security Response Force (SRF) personnel at Shasta Dam, a National Critical Infrastructure site.

The objective is to provide a modular indoor shooting range (MISR) that allows for year-round firearms training and qualifications, eliminating the need for personnel to travel offsite and enabling training during inclement weather.

Work Details
The contractor is required to supply, transport, and install one modular indoor shooting range (MISR) with the following specifications:
- A two-lane .308 ball munition rated 100-yard modular, transportable small arms training range.
- Capable of supporting live fire with weapons up to 5.56mm and .223 ammunitions, including hollow point and frangible ammunition for weapon training up to 3240 FPS and/or 1286 ft. lbs.
- The system must maintain full ballistic containment and structural integrity, designed for various weather conditions including rain, snow, wind, and heat up to 115°F.
- It should include features such as dimmable lighting for nighttime simulation and a self-propelled target retrieval system controlled from a master panel.
- Additionally, the contractor must provide one two-hour training session covering system maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting.

There is an option to purchase a second MISR with identical characteristics before January 1, 2027.

Place of Performance
The primary location for delivery is the Bureau of Reclamation Shasta Maintenance Center at 16349 Shasta Dam Blvd, Shasta Lake, CA 96022-9019.
