Description

SUMMARY: This firm fixed price contract is for the procurement of Radiator Covers to the Veterans Health Administration Western New York Healthcare System and the period of performance shall be 08/18/2025 to 09/18/2025. SCOPE: The Buffalo VA Medical Center is seeking a vendor to provide Radiator Covers that meet the specifications in this SOW and corresponding drawing to be delivered Buffalo VA Medical located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215. DELIVERABLES: Fifty (50) Radiator Covers forty (40) inches wide by twenty-six (26) inches high that have all the details outlined in attached drawing and be painted on both sides evenly in a resilient bright white paint. These covers can be custom manufactured or purchased with custom hole locations, whichever offers the best value to the government. If the vendor chooses to custom manufacture them, they shall produce one (1) prototype cover that is to be sent to the Buffalo VA. The COR will then verify if they meet the standards outlined in this SOW as well as fit and finish. The COR will then notify the contractor of any changes, if needed, or give approval to produce the remaining covers. An example of a radiator cover that meets our specifications is Vulcan RFG-A Convector Cover Only (40" wide x 26" high) 14-gauge, VP-1 Bright White Paint with custom hole locations. QUALITY ASSURANCE: The Government may inspect each material as received. The vendor shall be notified within 3 duty days of receipt of unacceptable materials. The contractor shall deliver replacement materials within fifteen (15) duty days of notification of unacceptable materials. WARRANTY: Vendor shall provide a one (1) year warranty on all requested goods and be able to process warranty for the claim within thirty (30) days. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: The vendor shall deliver all goods within one-hundred twenty (120) days after receipt of order.

The Buffalo VA Medical Center is seeking a vendor to provide these covers as part of their mission to support veteran healthcare facilities.

Work Details
The vendor is required to deliver fifty (50) Radiator Covers, each measuring forty (40) inches wide by twenty-six (26) inches high.

The covers must be painted on both sides with a resilient bright white paint and meet the specifications outlined in the attached drawing.

Vendors have the option to custom manufacture or purchase the covers with custom hole locations, whichever provides the best value.

If opting for custom manufacturing, one (1) prototype cover must be produced and sent to the Buffalo VA for verification against standards outlined in the SOW.

An example of an acceptable radiator cover is the Vulcan RFG-A Convector Cover Only (40" wide x 26" high), 14-gauge, VP-1 Bright White Paint with custom hole locations.
