Background
The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, Acquisition Management Division, issues this sources sought notice for the refurbishment of traveling water screens at the Dolores Water Conservancy District located in Dolores, CO. The notice is for gaining industry feedback for appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) and to determine potential offerors, availability, capability, and small business status to support the project. This is not a request for proposals, quote, or an invitation for bids and does not constitute any commitment by the Bureau of Reclamation. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice.

Work Details
The principal components of the work necessary to complete the project include overhaul and repair of six traveling water screens associated with five pumping plants, transportation for receipt, onloading, and transportation of the water screens from 5 pumping plant locations to the repair site and for the return shipment, disassembly, sandblasting, inspection, photography, re-coating with immersion service epoxy paint, reassembling with new hardware as recommended by the contractor, ensuring all replacement parts and components are compatible with existing equipment and specialty parts approved by OEM or Reclamation approved equal.

The vendor is also responsible for shipping and offloading of the water screens at the designated location. The project must be completed in two phases: Phase 1: – 02/24/2023; Phase 2: 11/10/2023 – 03/01/2024. The contractor shall provide an eighteen (18) month product warranty for all wear parts, boots, screens and paint.

Period of Performance
The target award date is September 1, 2022.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various locations including Fairview Pumping Plant in Yellow Jacket, CO; Cahone Pumping Plant in Cahone, CO; Dove Creek Pumping Plant in Dove Creek, CO; Pleasant View Pumping Plant in Pleasant View, CO; Ruin Canyon Pumping Plant in Pleasant View, CO.
