5000L Dorms Water Tanks Removal, Disposal, Replacement and Testing

Background
This solicitation is issued by the United States Air Force for the removal, disposal, replacement, and testing of water tanks at Aviano Air Base, Italy. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe and efficient replacement of existing domestic hot water storage tanks to maintain operational capabilities at the base.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

- Open the site with safety measures.
- Remove and reinstall existing piping.
- Remove existing tanks and install three (3) new 5000-liter tanks with corresponding insulating factors.
- Replace all expansion valves.
- Install new insulation to piping.
- Provide all commissioning, testing, and inspection documentation for the new installation.

The suggested model for the new water tanks is Cordivari EXTRA 2 WX or an equivalent model of equal quality and performance. The removed tanks must be disposed of in accordance with Italian law.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is no more than 90 calendar days from the award date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Aviano Air Base, 33081 Italy (buildings 1423, 1425, and 1426).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate past performance by providing evidence of at least one or two contracts/projects completed or ongoing within the last five years that involved providing, delivering, or replacing water tanks or similar items. Bidders must also submit an Operational Plan detailing compliance with requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
