The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is conducting market research through the Strategic Sealift Program Office to gather information regarding the availability and pricing of vessels for a 50-day dry cargo time charter. This effort aims to support future requirements for military logistics, specifically in transporting military cargo.

Work Details
The MSC is seeking U.S. and foreign flag Roll-On/Roll-Off (RO/RO) vessels capable of carrying a portion of 400,000 square feet of military cargo, which includes tracked and wheeled vehicles as well as breakbulk items. Specific cargo details include:

- 2 bridge fixed units (300L x 110W x 96H, 460 stons)
- 1 tracked FL truck dozer (234L x 102W x 121H, 166 stons)
- 4 MCRS units (493L x 102W x 84H, 350 stons)
- 4 truck van expandos (391L x 96W x 148H, 261 stons)
- 1 tracked FL truck (253L x 121W x 121H, 1 ston)

The delivery and redelivery ports are both located in Tacoma, Washington.

Period of Performance
The charter period is approximately 50 days, with laydays commencing on August 29, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
Interested parties must provide detailed information including the name and description of the vessel(s), daily charter hire rates along with any delivery/redelivery bonuses, fuel consumption rates both underway and in port working, militarily useful square feet of vessel deck space, number of supercargo the vessel can accommodate, and any potential subcontracting opportunities.
