AMENDMENT 0002:

This synopsis is amended to change the Anticipated Issue Date to 12 July 2022, the Anticipated Closing Date to 27 September 2022, and to inform interested parties the solicitation and associated controlled documents will be posted on Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE formerly known as WAWF) Solicitation Module at https://piee.eb.mil. The solicitation notice will flow to SAM.gov, but the actual posting will be in PIEE. The proposal shall also be submitted through the Solicitation Module in PIEE.

Anticipated Issue Date: 02 MAY 2022 Closing Date: 19 JULY 2022 Time 2:00 PM Eastern

Solicitation Number N0016422RJN03 is replacing Solicitation Number N0016421RJN03.

NAVSEA Crane anticipates issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for a 5-year, Firm-Fixed Priced (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for .50 Caliber Reduced Range Ammunition, including Ball and Tracer rounds. This acquisition is under North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 332992. The resulting award has a 5-year ordering period with a minimum contract value of $35,000. The estimated maximum contract value is $98,495,000. Inspection & Acceptance is to be at Origin with delivery FOB Destination to NSWC Crane.

This is a full and open competitive acquisition and all responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered. It is anticipated that 850 .50 Caliber Reduced Range Ball rounds and 850 .50 Caliber Reduced Range Tracer rounds will be required as product samples. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of the following factors as described in the RFP: technical, past performance, and price. The Government intends to award to the responsible vendor whose offer is the best value to the Government. Offers that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for contract award.

Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. Information about the JCP is located at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx . The controlled attachments will be posted at the same time the solicitation is posted.
