Background
The 48th Contracting Squadron at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback from companies/entities capable of providing a 7.5 Ton refuse truck to service RAF Lakenheath and RAF Feltwell. The mission is to collect recycling bins for cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum cans across both bases, supporting all facilities in recycling efforts for these commodities. The goal is to purchase a new 7.5 ton compacting refuse vehicle with a rear bin lift to lift 600L and 1100L wheelie bins, on board scales, and a payload of 3 tons with a 3-year warranty. This vehicle will reduce collection times, increase profit margin, and aid in the purchase of other recycling equipment to support the Air Force's 40% diversion goal.

Work Details
A new 7.5 ton compacting refuse vehicle with a 3-year warranty on body and lift is needed for purchase to aid the program. The vehicle should have a payload of 2.5 tons, a rear bin lift to support the emptying of 600L and 1100L wheelie bins, on board weighing scales, and be delivered to Bldg. 1138, RAF Lakenheath, Brandon, Suffolk, IP27 9. The vehicle will be a United Kingdom spec vehicle.
