Lyons - Water Heater Replacement   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to replace two failing water heaters at the Lyons VA Medical Center located in Lyons, New Jersey. The goal of this contract is to provide the necessary equipment for the replacement of these units, which are critical for maintaining the facility's hot water supply.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following equipment as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW):

1. **Patterson-Kelley Model PK-08D Semi-Instantaneous Water Heater**
- Quantity: 1
- Rated to provide 27 GPM of Domestic Hot Water from 40-120°F when supplied with 25 psig Inlet Steam and 5 psig in the Coil @ 1122#/hr.
- Features include:
- Solid Copper Nickel Pressure Vessel rated for 150 psi ASME working pressure.
- Factory Insulation.
- 90/10 Double Wall Copper Nickel Tube Bundle rated for 150 psi ASME working pressure and 210°F test pressure.
- All bronze circulator pump, 1/6HP, NYC Trim Package, 115v/1ph/60Hz, with isolation valves, ball and check valves, and venturi tees.
- Various valves and controls including a Spence Pilot Operated Steam Control Valve and a Wye Strainer.
- Operation & Maintenance Manuals in electronic form.
- Factory Authorized Start-Up & Training.

2. **Patterson-Kelley Model PK-10D Semi-Instantaneous Water Heater**
- Quantity: 1
- Rated to provide 65 GPM of Domestic Hot Water from 40-140°F when supplied with 40 psig Inlet Steam and 25 psig in the Coil @ 3469#/hr.
- Features include:
- Similar specifications as above with adjustments for capacity and specific components tailored to meet higher demand.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall complete the work required under this SOW within 60 days of award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers of the specified Patterson-Kelley water heaters. Compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws is required. Additionally, bidders must ensure that all materials provided meet the specifications outlined in the SOW.
