44 MED Monument Relocation on Fort Liberty (Amendment 01)

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC-FL) is issuing a requirement from the 44th Medical Brigade to procure services for the assessment, removal, transportation, and installation of a monument with a granite base currently located at the 1st TSC Monument and Memorial on Fort Liberty, NC.

The goal of this contract is to relocate the monument to a new site at the 44th Medical Brigade, ensuring proper handling and installation.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
- Conduct a physical assessment of the monument located at 1st TSC Monument and Memorial;
- Remove the monument with its granite base;
- Transport it to the new memorial site at 44th Medical Brigade behind Building A. 1682, Long Street, Fort Liberty, NC;
- Install the monument at the new location;
- Provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items required for these operations;
- Validate measurements of the monument;
- Collaborate with representatives from the 44th Medical Brigade;
- Ensure cleanup of all trash and debris during and after work;
- Notify the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) two days prior to starting work;
- Provide warranties on workmanship and insurance;
- Be financially liable for any damage to the monument during relocation.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract begins on September 30, 2024, with project completion estimated no later than October 11, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Fort Liberty, NC 28310.
