Description

The 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron has a requirement for 36 Totes DE-ICER, Polar Plus LT, Type I Aircraft Deicing/Anti-icing Fluid. Each tote holds 275 gallons of de-icing fluid. The de-icing fluid has a shelf life of 4 years. This requirement is required to deice the aircraft windshields of the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's fleet of C-17s.

Background
The 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, part of the United States Air Force, has a requirement for de-icing fluid to maintain the operational readiness of its fleet of C-17 aircraft.

The goal of this contract is to procure 36 totes of Polar Plus LT, Type I Aircraft Deicing/Anti-icing Fluid to ensure safe and effective de-icing of aircraft windshields during winter operations.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of 36 totes of Cryotech’s Polar Plus LT 55/45 dilute – Ready to Use (55% Polar Plus and 45% Water), Type I Aircraft Deicing/Anti-icing Fluid.

Each tote holds 275 gallons of de-icing fluid, which has a shelf life of 4 years. This product is essential for removing ice from the windshields of C-17 Cargo Planes.

The total cost for this procurement is not to exceed $140,000.00.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order (ARO) or as directed by the Requirement Owner, with an expected delivery timeframe in February 2025.

Place of Performance
The delivery will take place at Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), South Carolina.
