STATEMENT OF WORK

MEDICAL AIR COMPRESSOR SYSTEM AND INSTALLATION

  1. Title: Medical Air Compressor System and Installation for Iowa City VA Health Care System.
  2. General Overview: The Contractor shall provide new Medical Air Compressor System, qualified Technicians, Independent Medical Gas Verifier, and all labor and materials necessary to install system.
  3. Place of Performance: 3rd Floor Mechanical Room

  1. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all parts and labor to install one Medical Air Compressor System.

a. Deliver new air compressor system and install on existing concrete pad located in 3rd floor

mechanical room of building 1, Main Hospital.

b. Install new 3 OA piping (approx. 72') from near the bottom of the riser in the ceiling of 3rd floor

mechanical room to the inlet air location of the new medical air compressor.

c. Install new 3 MA piping from the outlet of the new medical air compressor with connection to

the existing 3 piping above the existing medical air compressor (approx. 15').

d. Install new 3 4 drainage piping from the new equipment to the nearest floor drain.

e. Independent Medical Gas Verifier will certify new system.

f. Start-up new air compressor, check for proper operation, and put online.
