Supply: Chiller Rental

The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, has a requirement for the rental of two (2) 550-ton chillers. Please refer to the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) for complete details.

Background
The Malcom Randall VA Medical Center (MRVAMC) at 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, Florida, has a continued need for the rental of two (2) 500-ton air-cooled chillers to temporarily provide chilled water to the hospital.

The objective is to ensure that the temporary rental chillers are delivered, installed, and fully operational as per the outlined schedule.

Work Details
The anticipated contract includes a base period from February 01, 2026, through September 30, 2026, with two additional one-year option periods.

The scope of work includes:
- Power supply from MRVAMC via three electrical service feeds (US-8: 480V 600A; US-9: 480V 600A; US-10: 480V 1200A).
- The offeror is responsible for providing and setting up electrical switchgear to maximize efficiency.
- Delivery of air-cooled chillers on flatbed trailers parked by the MEP Plant.
- Provision of all necessary hoses, wires, temporary panels, and fittings.
- Connection of hoses from each chiller to designated plants (A Plant and B Plant).
- Setup of switching gear and running electrical wires/leads.
- Operator training for selected personnel and test operation of chillers.
- Disconnection of all hoses and electrical connections upon removal of chillers.

Qualifications include that all staff involved must have the required professional and technical experience.

Period of Performance
Base period from February 01, 2026, through September 30, 2026; with option periods extending through September 30, 2028.
