This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of all businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 238220. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking all qualified business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers to all the following specifications: Requirement: The Brooklyn Engineering Service is seeking to procure two (2) cooling tower units to ensure uninterrupted air conditioning. These units will be a direct replacement of the current VTX-25CM towers that are currently in use at the facility. The vendor shall provide the exact unit specifications to establish the correct amount of efficiency and flow rate. This is a brand name only requirement. Contractor is to provide the following: Mfg. Brand Name Description Quantity BAC (Baltimore Aircoil Company) VTO-024-G Cooling Tower Unit 2 Thermal Capacity: 12 1,335 tons Flow Rate: Up to 6,750 USGPM Counterflow/Centrifugal Fan/Forced Draft This is a direct replacement for tower VTX-25CM. The vendor shall confirm quality assurance of the unit before delivery. They shall coordinate with engineering staff to place each tower in the correct location and make any adjustments needed. The units shall be delivered during regular working hours (8am 4:30pm). THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Please be advised that the Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors).
