Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), Commodities 1 is seeking information and potential qualified sources capable of providing pharmacy refrigerators for the Wilmington VA Medical Center.

Work Details
The Wilmington VAMC requires the acquisition of two (2) new pharmaceutical grade refrigerators. The equipment must meet the specific requirements listed in VHA Directive 1108.07(1).

Required salient characteristics include:
- Stainless steel interior/exterior
- Minimum of 12.0 cu feet capacity
- Dual pane locking glass door
- Buffered Temperature Probe
- Touchscreen digital LCD temperature display
- Minimum of 4 adjustable shelves
- Must have locking wheels
- Calibration for certification of accuracy of temperature monitoring device (+1C/1.8F)
- User programmable cascade alarm/escalation process for temperature excursions or power loss alerts
- Digital data logger to record operational data outside recommended temperature range
- Essential electric system for continuity during power disruptions
- Pharmaceutical grade design for drug and biologic storage with microprocessor-based temperature control and fan-forced air circulation.
