Description

Background
The Tobyhanna Army Depot is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance, diagnostic inspections, and repairs for approximately 39 400 Hz cycle converters. These converters are critical for supporting depot-wide communications and electronics maintenance missions, ensuring uninterrupted support for military operations.

The goal of the contract is to maintain these systems in a fully operational condition under load, minimizing downtime and preventing failures.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. Conduct quarterly preventative maintenance and inspections on all 400 Hz cycle converters.
2. Execute semi-annual preventative maintenance and inspections.
3. Perform annual preventative maintenance for idle units.
4. Provide a 48-hour response for troubleshooting under load, including diagnostic visits and quotes.
5. Execute repairs based on firm fixed price quotes approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) prior to any work being completed. The contractor must ensure compliance with manufacturer’s service manuals and obtain formal written approval before performing emergency repairs.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from December 6, 2026, to December 5, 2031, with options extending through December 5, 2031.

Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA.
