Background
The solicitation is issued by the Air Force Civil Engineering Center for a Design-Bid-Build project aimed at repairing the 400 Aircraft Parking Ramp at Travis Air Force Base, California.

The project involves significant demolition and replacement of concrete pavements and associated infrastructure, reflecting the agency's commitment to maintaining operational readiness and safety at military installations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the demolition and replacement of approximately 29,000 square yards (SY) of concrete pavements, specifically targeting the existing 400 Ramp Phase 5. This includes:
- Demolition and replacement of PCC transition pavement between the work area and surrounding existing pavement.
- Demolition and replacement of existing drainage utilities.
- All other work necessary to ensure project completion and usability.

Additionally, Option 1 includes the potential addition of 400 Ramp Phase 8, which encompasses approximately 31,000 SY of concrete pavement. The contractor must establish an on-site staging area with a batch plant capable of producing 250 cubic yards (CY) of concrete per hour, located approximately one and a half miles from the project site.
