Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Headquarters Air Force Sustainment Center (AFMC) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is issuing a request for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a 5-year contract to procure 3M 401+ masking tape. This contract aims to support the operational needs of the 76 AMXG/569 AMXS unit by ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality masking tape.

Work Details
The requested equipment includes the following specifications for masking tape:
- Item one: Masking Tape 24mm (1 inch) x 55m (60 yards)
- Item two: Masking Tape 48mm (2 inch) x 55m (60 yards)
- Item three: Masking Tape 76mm (3 inch) x 55m (60 yards)
- Item four: Masking Tape 12mm (1/2 inch) x 55m (60 yards)

All tapes must adhere to these requirements:
- Compliance with SAE AMS-T-21595 (formerly MIL-T-21595), Types 1 and 2.
- Single-sided with a natural/synthetic rubber adhesive blend.
- Backing made of crepe paper.
- Adhesive strength between 35oz/in and 50oz/in as per ASTM D3330.
- Minimum tensile strength of 24lb/in according to ASTM D3759.
- Minimum elongation of 14% per ASTM D3759.
- Capable of high-temperature use, rated for a minimum surface temperature of 249°F for at least 30 minutes.
- Color must be green.

Additionally, all tape must be delivered with a minimum of six months of shelf life remaining.

5 years from the date of contract award.
