PETRIFIED TREE AGGREGATE STOCKPILE FOR BLM DRY CREEK PETRIFIED TREE SMRA, JOHNSON COUNTY, WYOMING
Description of Work: Mowing the circle drive interior, deliver and stockpile 600 cubic yards (429 tons) of Aggregate Base Course material specified in the Technical Specifications Section 32 1123 to the BLM Dry Creek Petrified Tree SMRA in Johnson County, Wyoming. Mowing will be completed by the end of September 2024. Aggregate delivery and stockpiling shall be performed between April 1st and May 31st of 2025. A Pre-award site visit will occur at the BLM Dry Creek Petrified Tree SMRA.
A. Path aggregate surfacing shall be a well-draining aggregate comprised of sand and gravel as recommended by the geotechnical review.
1. Aggregate surfacing shall meet the following gradation requirements:
a. Liquid Limit/Plasticity Index: 6 maximum
b. Sieve Percent Passing
1/2 inch 100
3/8 inch 96-100
No. 4 75-90
No. 8 55-75
No. 16 35-50
No. 200 12-20
Location: Work under this Contract is in Johnson County, Wyoming, approximately 10 miles east of Buffalo, Wyoming.

Deliverables will be accepted based on the ability to meet specifications.

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this contract for the purpose of managing and maintaining the Dry Creek Petrified Tree Site in Johnson County, Wyoming.
