Background
The National Cemetery Administration honors veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service to our nation. Riverside National Cemetery, established in 1976, is the largest and busiest cemetery managed by the National Cemetery Administration. It features a dramatic landscape with memorial circles, lakes, and various monuments including the Medal of Honor Memorial and the Gold Star Families Monument, dedicated on January 28, 2023.

The goal of this contract is to provide unarmed security guard services to ensure safety and security within the cemetery grounds.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary for unarmed guard services within Federal property lines. Key tasks include:
- Daily foot and vehicle patrols, 24 hours a day, including federal holidays.
- High visibility security patrols to deter criminal activity.
- Regular guard tours at designated locations.
- Use of contractor-issued cellular phones for photographing checkpoints during patrols.
- Patrol of primary focal points including committal service sites, maintenance yards, administration building, public restrooms, cemetery monuments, trailers, and storage yards.
- Awareness of visitors' behavior to identify any suspicious activities or emergencies.
- Enforcement of cemetery policies and procedures posted at entry and exit points.
- Conducting traffic control during large ceremonies or events as needed.
