National Cemetery Administration (NCA) owns and operates a significant infrastructure portfolio of National Cemeteries throughout the nation. NCA is committed to protecting its workers from hazardous conditions in the workplace. Additionally, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that Federal agencies establish a comprehensive program for the evaluation of Federal employee occupational safety and health programs. All areas and operations of each workplace, including office operations, shall be inspected at least annually. The purpose of this procurement is to engage a contractor with the necessary health and safety expertise to conduct Annual Workplace Evaluations (AWEs) and to provide Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring support for NCA nationwide. This approach will ensure that NCA receives expert third-party feedback by an independent and highly skilled firm with extensive experience and credibility in this critical area. This firm should be able to both identify hazards and state how those hazards should be mitigated.
