The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is pleased to solicit bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Madison VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Madison VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, material, equipment, and supervision for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Madison VAMC. This project shall include, but not be limited to general construction, the replacement of all telecommunications cable, outlets, and associated equipment for multiple buildings on the Madison VA campus. All work will be performed consistent with provided drawings and specifications.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is soliciting bids for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project at the Madison VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. The project aims to upgrade the telecommunications infrastructure for multiple buildings on the Madison VA campus.

Work Details
The scope of work includes general construction, replacement of all telecommunications cable, outlets, and associated equipment for multiple buildings on the Madison VA campus. Specific tasks involve upgrading facilities fiber, providing new main fiber lines, installing additional work area outlets, new electrical outlets, power distribution and backup upgrades, HVAC assessment and upgrades, renovation of existing space and data center, physical security upgrades, communication infrastructure upgrades, hazardous material abatement, and providing new facility television fiber backbone and cabling.

Period of Performance
The contractor is required to complete the entire project within 600 calendar days after receipt of the NOTICE TO PROCEED.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital located at 2500 Overlook Terrace, Madison, WI 53705.
