Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide Emergency Generator Maintenance in support of the Portland VA Medical Center at Portland, Oregon. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist in determining the appropriate acquisition method.

Work Details
Technicians shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, materials, supervision, and facilities to perform maintenance and services for the (5) MTU Emergency Diesel Generators for the Portland VA Medical Center. This includes oil and coolant replacement for VA Portland Emergency Generators, emergency generator radiator and oil replacement at Vancouver CLC, Vancouver campus standby generator oil replacement, and Vancouver Boiler Plant oil replacement. All generators are to have a 24 point check completed.

The solicitor must have a local service center within 25 square miles of the Portland VA. Efforts will be made by the contractor to minimize disruption to customers and employees. Vendor employees will comply with the Standards of Conduct on VA property outlined in title 38 CFR section 1.218.

Period of Performance
This requirement is a procurement for a six-month additional option.

Place of Performance
The service needed is located at the Portland, OR and Vancouver Campus of the Portland VA Medical Center.
