The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue Request for Quote (RFQ) 36L79725Q0002 on behalf of the Madison VA Medical Center located at: Madison VA Medical Center 2500 Overlook Terrace Building #2 Madison, WI 53705 Pursuant to 38 U.S. Code 8128, RFQ 36L79725Q0002 will be issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. Quotes are being solicited only from Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) listed SDVOSBs @ https://veterans.certify.sba.gov. Quotes received from entities that are not VetCert listed SDVOSBs at the time of the offer due date will not be considered. Also, at the time of submission quoters must represent to the Contracting Officer that they are a small business concern under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to the RFQ. The NAICS code assigned is 333310. The VA will award one contract to the responsible quoter who is able to meet the requirements within the Technical Specifications for the laundry equipment. The SDVOSB quoter shall furnish the laundry equipment as specified in the Technical Specifications below. The total contract duration is 320 days after the effective date of the contract. This timeframe includes delivery, installation, and two (2) days of onsite shakedown and training.

Work Details
The contract includes the following key items:

1. **400-500 LB Washer-Extractor**: Furnish and install three (3) each, 400-500 lb multi pocket washer-extractor with total wastewater heat recovery capability. Key specifications include:

- Loading by sling with stainless steel loading chutes.
- Installation of a ½ Ton electric chain hoist for maintenance.
- Washer loading platform with safety handrails, slip-resistant surface, and dimensions no less than 42 inches wide.
- Multiple compartments and pass-through model with a minimum capacity of 400 pounds.
- Chemical dispensing manifold for seven types of chemicals.
- Programmable controls with audible alarms and visual indicators for cycle completion.

2. **110-120 LB Gas Heated Drying and Conditioning Dryers**: Furnish and install two (2) each dryers with internal lint collection. Specifications include:
- Single door, non-pass through design.
- Color touch screen controls with automatic/manual operation capabilities.
- Equipped with over-dry protection and internal lint collection systems.

3. **Small Piece Folding Machines**: Furnish and install three (3) each return to feed color touch screen-controlled small piece folders capable of folding various textile items including pajamas, towels, and gowns.

4. **Steam Garment Tunnel Finisher**: One (1) each finisher capable of processing up to 600 pieces per hour with color touch screen controls.

5. **Medium Production Thermal Fluid Flatwork Ironing Systems**: One (1) each system including spreader-feeding machine, thermal fluid heated flatwork ironer, and folder-cross folder capable of handling large volumes of flatwork items.

6. **Blanket Folder System**: One (1) each system designed for thermal blankets, bath blankets, and bedspreads with production capabilities of 500 units per hour for each type.

7. **400-500 LB Gas Heated Drying and Conditioning Dryer**: Two (2) each dryers equipped with external lint collection systems.
