Description

STATEMENT OF WORK This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA-310-12-Q-0014 and is issued a Request for Quotes (RFQ) unless otherwise specified. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 448310 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees. This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids. Bids will be accepted by electronic means only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Philadelphia Regional Office, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Office (VR&E) has a requirement for Horology tools to provide to veterans enrolled in the VR&E Chaper 31 program for employment needs. New/Old Stock Equipment ONLY (never been used). These cannot be substituted. For Exact Match only, to the following; Swiss made STAR 8mm watchmaker precision lathe, nickel plated, combination R (old/new stock, never been used). Swiss made electric motor made for STAR and Bergeon with build-in speed control from 0-3000/r.min pedal operated; Swiss made START (Bergeon) staking tool and friction jewelling outfit. Complete assortment in wooden case with "U 50" staking tool and "U 50 pedestal. Custom made watchmaker bench, top measures 50" x 27", height 37"; Deluxe Seitz Friction Jeweling tool set, complete. Please see attached listing of all tools required. Offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to them.
