This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912BU26BA013 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for one new deck barge for the Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, for use in support of its various missions in accordance with all specifications. BASIS FOR SELECTION OF AWARD: Award shall be made to the lowest-priced bidder who is determined to be responsive and responsible. BID SUBMISSION: Offerors shall submit their bid no later than 1400 EDT on 01 June 2026 as follows: The Offerors bid shall be submitted electronically via Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), as described below. The Offerors bid shall not contain classified data. The use of hyperlinks in bids is prohibited. NOTE: The only authorized transmission method to this solicitation is electronically via PIEE Solicitation Module online submission. NO OTHER TRANSMISSION METHODS (EMAIL, FACSIMILIE, REGULAR MAIL, HANDCARRIED, ETC.,) WILL BE ACCEPTED. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Specific information pertaining to this procurement is available in the Solicitation. The Solicitation documents are posted on the SAM.gov website. It is, and will continue to be, the responsibility of all potential bidders to monitor the SAM.gov and PIEE websites for any amendments, updates, responses to industry questions/comments, etc. The Government will not be maintaining a mailing list. Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has issued this solicitation for the procurement of a new deck barge to support its various missions. The goal of this contract is to provide a vessel that will be utilized for maintenance operations on the inland navigation system, specifically for river maintenance work and lock and dam maintenance in the Vicksburg Area of Operation.
