Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a 3-Year Maintenance Contract for Q Exactive Systems for the Midwestern Laboratory (ML) to ensure the safety and accuracy of meat, poultry, catfish, and egg products. The ML specializes in analyzing these products to protect the American food supply from adulteration. The laboratory is located at 4300 Goodfellow Boulevard, Building 105D, Saint Louis, Missouri.

Work Details
The contract requires preventative maintenance and repair service for one Q Exacitve Focus and three Q Exactive Basic MS instruments coupled with LC from Thermo Electron North America LLC. The service contract includes onsite repair and preventative service visits, as well as repair and preventative service parts during the contract period.
Technical requirements include factory certified parts, labor, and travel for remedial repair, guaranteed two business days onsite response time for remedial repairs, hardware and application telephone support, priority access for technical support inquiries, firmware and software updates, E-Support technical resources containing software, application, and service bulletins.
The hours of service are from 8:00am to 6:00pm CST, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the contract is from July 10, 2023 to July 9, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the FSIS Midwestern Laboratory (ML), located at 4300 Goodfellow Boulevard, Building 105D, Saint Louis, Missouri.
