3 Forest Stewardship IDIQ   2

The solicitation and any resultant contract will be a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277 sec 347.
This project is a Total Small Business Set Aside.
The NAICS code for this project is 115310. The small business size standard is no greater than $19 million in average annual receipts. Only offers from businesses that are certified to meet both Small Business status and the size standard will be considered. The Government intends to award three to five IDIQ Stewardship Contracts for Mechanical Fuels Reduction and Vegetation Management located on three National Forests: Stanislaus National Forest, Sierra National Forest, and Sequoia National Forest. The types of work will include all activities to maintain a healthy forest environment including but not limited to: forest product removal and logging activities. Some sub activities will be thinning, piling, mastication and road maintenance. The task orders against these contracts will be competed amongst the IDIQ contract awardees over the life of the contracts. The maximum allowed to be ordered against all contracts is an aggregate total of $6.5 million, and the expected IDIQ term is a 5 year base or until the maximum is met.

The date of award is expected to be within 60 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and is subject to change with amendments to the solicitation. Please note that the response date has been extended to January 10, 2017 at 3:00pm.
