Marine Corps Base Quantico Facilities Maintenance Branch (FMB) requires purchase and bulk delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite to Water Treatment Plants in accordance with M00264 chemical and delivery descriptions to continue to keep the plant operational and comply with Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations.

Background
The Marine Corps Base Quantico Facilities Maintenance Branch (FMB) is responsible for maintaining operational standards at the Water Treatment Plants. The goal of this contract is to procure and ensure the bulk delivery of essential chemicals, specifically Sodium Hypochlorite, Acetic Acid, and Aluminum Sulfate, to comply with Local, State, and Federal laws and regulations.

Work Details
The contract requires the purchase and bulk delivery of the following chemicals:
1. Sodium Hypochlorite
2. Acetic Acid
3. Aluminum Sulfate

For Aluminum Sulfate specifically:
- Total quantity: 21,000 gallons (increased from 10,000 gallons)
- Delivery Schedule: Up to five (5) deliveries to Marine Corps Base Quantico wastewater treatment plant.
- Each delivery will consist of approximately 4,200 gallons.
- Deliveries must be made within 5 federal workdays of order placement.
- Acceptable minimum content of active chemical: 8.0% by weight Aluminum Oxide; maximum content: 8.4% by weight.
- Solution strength must be between 48% and 52%.
- Product must conform to AWWA B403-03 standards.
- Delivery Address: 660 Epperson Road, Quantico, VA 22134.
