Description

The 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (338 ESS), at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, Texas (TX), is seeking information concerning the availability of technically capable firms to provide support in performing Personnel Security functions for the entire accessions and training pipeline. 2 AF/TTOC, Detachment 1, JBSA-Lackland TX (AETC) seeks two people to use government web-based systems to track over 30,000 personnel each year and respond to any security clearance issues identified by DoD and AF agencies. Due to the web-based systems requirements, individuals performing the work must have at least a Secret security clearance. This RFI/SS aims to gather insights on vendor capabilities and offerings. All interested firms, regardless of their socioeconomic program status or size, are invited to respond to this RFI/SS.

Background

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor necessary to provide Personnel Security related administrative support to the Sensitive Skills Interview (SSI) Branch 2 AF/TTOC, Det1 at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, Texas. The contractor shall provide professional, articulate, and adequate administrative services to ensure tracking and processing of security issues throughout the accessions/training pipeline until a person arrives at the first duty station.

The contractor shall review Personnel Security databases to track any requests for information and CSRs. The contractor will provide support by tracking Personnel Security actions for approximately 6,000 DAF military personnel per month as they proceed through the accessions process and training pipeline. Contractor personnel must have at least a Secret Clearance in order to access systems for tracking security clearances and responding to queries from other DoD Agencies.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be five (5) years, with a one (1) year base period and four (4) 1-year option periods.

Place of Performance
The work under this contract shall be performed at Sensitive Skills Interview (SSI) Branch, 2 AF, Technical Training Operations Center, Detachment 1 (2AF/TOCC, Det 1), Building 6630, at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, Texas.
