MTE Pump Generating Manufacturing and Rehab IDIQ   3

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking contractor performance via a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the supply and construction of the Mt Elbert Pump Generating Plant (MTE). The objective of this procurement is to acquire contractor performance for the manufacturing and rehabilitation of the MTE Pump Generating Plant.

Work Details
The scope of work covers replacement, addition, and extraordinary maintenance of powerplant powertrain and ancillary equipment. This includes generators, motor-generators, breakers, transformers, turbines, pump-turbines, governors, wicket-gate systems, excitation, thrust and guide bearings, shaft seals, air and oil coolers, head covers, bearing supports, controls, protective relays, annunciation, AC and DC power systems.

Ancillary equipment includes gates, valves, gate/valve actuators, piping, station service, trash racks, air compressors, hydraulic-power units, receivers, accumulators, cranes, elevators and fire detection/suppression systems. Task orders may require supply of materials or components for Government use or installation; providing nonpersonal services to perform identifiable tasks; construction, alteration or repair of hydroelectric powertrain and ancillary equipment; designing, engineering, fabricating and installing replacement components or assemblies; furnishing and installing new components or assemblies. The total ceiling price of each contract awarded will be $45 million with a minimum order requirement.

Period of Performance
The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 1825 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Mt Elbert Pump Generating Plant (MTE) in accordance with the terms of the solicitation.
