Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) is conducting market research through the Strategic Sealift Program Office to gather information regarding the price and availability of vessels for a 28-day dry cargo time charter.

This request for information aims to assist in developing future requirements for military cargo transportation.

Work Details
The MSC is seeking U.S. and foreign flag roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) vessels capable of carrying a portion of 500,000 square feet of military cargo, which includes tracked and wheeled vehicles as well as breakbulk.

Specific cargo includes various military vehicles such as STLR lowbeds, armored vehicles, joint assault bridges, M88A2s, M1A1s, M1A2s, Bradley M2A3s, among others.

The delivery port for the cargo will be Beaumont, Texas (USA), with redelivery at Gdynia, Poland. The charter period is approximately 28 days with laydays commencing on September 16, 2026. Special requirements include a 20-foot door requirement for the vessels.
