Background
The Military Sealift Command (MSC) Norfolk, Strategic Sealift Program Support Office is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) N3220526R6042 for a 23-day Dry Cargo Time Charter.

The MSC's mission is to provide strategic sealift and ocean transportation for the Department of Defense. This acquisition aims to secure a vessel capable of meeting specific transportation requirements, particularly for hazardous materials and general cargo.

Work Details
The contractor will provide one U.S. flag vessel capable of carrying a minimum of six 20-foot ISO containers, including four containers of Class 7 and Class 8 hazardous materials. The vessel must meet the following specifications:

2. Draft shall not exceed 35 feet (10.6 meters) when loaded.

Place of Performance
Delivery will occur at Berth 13, Yokosuka, Japan, with redelivery at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington.
