Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS) Phoenix annually conducts continuing education training for IHS, Tribal, and Urban programs, along with service delivery partners in Arizona, Utah, and parts of California served by the Phoenix Area IHS. The training aims to enhance the healthcare for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) individuals, families, villages, communities, and tribes, with a specific focus on improving outcomes for AI/AN adolescents and adults affected by mental health and substance abuse issues. The program will emphasize suicide prevention, response to the opioid epidemic, and provide best practice approaches and findings to enhance the delivery of outpatient behavioral health services effectively.

Work Details
The Phoenix Area 20th Annual Integrated Behavioral Health Conference will be held in Phoenix, AZ on preferred dates of April 16-18, 2024. Three working days will be dedicated to achieving the goals and objectives of all meeting foci. Approximately 200 participants are expected to attend. The contractor is required to provide conference space including AVI equipment and lodging for attendees. The contractor must also set aside a block of guest rooms for the participants at or below the prevailing Federal Per Diem rate. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing meeting space in downtown metro area for proximity to airport, downtown hotels, and IHS Phoenix Area Office.
