Item 888E is an open line item that allows an offeror to propose any commercially-made motor vehicle incorporating emerging technology, for which there is an existing Federal Standard vehicle category and which conforms to all GSA standards and regulations that pertain to the Government's motor vehicle requirements. UPDATE: August 19, 2024 - AutoBid will open Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 8am EDT and close Monday, September 16,2024 at 4pm EDT. Please use the latest set of Purchase Descriptions (PDs) stored in Attachments for the SINs you wish to bid on.

UPDATE: July 11, 2024 - AutoStandards1 will open Monday, July 15, 2024 at 8am EDT and close Monday, July 22,2024 at 8am EDT. During this time, vendors (and offerors who set up an AutoBid account - see Request for GSA AutoBid Account Form in the Attachments section) will be able to make suggestions to the Purchase Descriptions (PDs) for SINs 377A, 377B, 377C, 377D, 377E, 377F, 377G, 377H , 377I, 377K, and 377L (updated July 10, 2024 - See Attachments section) as well as update their model minimum requirements.

UPDATE: June 17, 2024 - Under solicitation 47QMCA21R0013, 2022 Transit Bus Program, GSA is announcing the third Open Season period for existing contractors to provide new model year (NMY) information on awarded line items, as well as for these contractors or new interested offerors to propose new models under the 2022 Transit Bus Program. All models must comply with the Federal Purchase Descriptions as outlined and updated in the solicitation.

GSA will hold a virtual Industry Day on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 9:00am 10:00am EDT to discuss the Open Season process. All interested parties should attend. Below is the meeting info:

Existing contractors and new interested offerors must submit a list of all new makes/models they intend to submit for consideration via a Google Form issued by Craig Yokum at craig.yokum@gsa.gov no later than August 8, 2024, at 5:00pm EDT. The Google Form will be issued to known interested parties immediately following the Industry Day listed above.
All new interested offerors, as well as existing contract holders who require changes to their log-in roles * are also required to request an AutoBid account no later than August 8, 2024, at 5:00pm EDT by submitting the attached Request for AutoBid Account document, complete with all necessary information, to automotiveedi.partnerships@gsa.gov. The subject of that correspondence should read 47QMCA21R0013 - 2022 Transit Bus Program Fall Open Season Request for AutoBid Account. *Note: new this year, existing contract holders with active AutoBid accounts who do not require changes to their log-in do NOT need to submit this form.

AutoBid will open on September 3, 2024, for all parties who properly requested an AutoBid account.
