This synopsis is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or , for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or, a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not to be provided for. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all capability statements received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this "Notice of Intent," the Government shall determine whether a competitive solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the "System for Award Management" (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this "Notice of Intent."

The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Enterprise Contracting Office (PKS) intends to award a sole source contract to The Rosen Centre, 9840 Internatonal Drive, Orlando, FL 32819, based on the authority of the FAR 6.302-1. This contract is planned to be awarded NLT May 11, 2020 for a period of five (5) days.

This contract allows for SAF/PA personnel to register/attend the 2020 Air Force Public Affairs Professional Development Seminar (PSAV). PSAV is the premier training event for Air Force Public Affairs personnel. This five-day seminar requires contractor support for conference room set-up, take down, and provision of extensive audio/visual aids support to disseminate information, policy and training.

This event will be held 11-15 May, 2020 in Orlando, FL.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Any offerors responding to the Notice must provide evidence of capability to perform the above requirements.

The appropriate NAICS Code for this acquisition is 721110, Lodging, Hotels (except Casinos)
