2 kilowatt (kW) Military Tactical Generator (MTG) Sets

Product Manager Small Expeditionary Power Systems is seeking sources to build, test, package, and deliver MEP-531A and MEP-501A 2 kilowatt (kW) Military Tactical Generator (MTG) sets (hereafter referred to as sets') in accordance with the attached Government furnished technical data package (TDP). In addition to 2kW MTG hardware, this effort will include Program Management, Technical Support, and an update to the TDP and technical manual (TM 9-6115-673-13&P). If the engine specified in the TDP is unavailable, this effort will include identifying, integrating, testing, and incorporating a new engine into the TDP and technical manual. If the engine specified in the TDP is available, the Government may procure sets with the current engine, while still requiring the integration of a new engine into the TDP and technical manual. The estimated combined quantity of both 28 volt direct current (DC) and 60 hertz (Hz) MTG sets is between 200 to 500 sets over a five year contract period from calendar year 2017 through 2022.
