Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of food items for the 1st Quarter Subsistence Budget for FY 2026. The goal of this contract is to supply various food products to the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) to meet dietary needs and standards. This includes a range of certified foods, dairy products, canned goods, and other essential food items.

Work Details
The contract includes the following specific items to be delivered:

1. **Kosher Tartar Sauce** - Individual packets, 9 grams each, certified kosher parve, 200 count per case.
2. **Butter** - Bulk, U.S. Grade AA or A, 36-pound cases, 4 units.
3. **Cheddar Cheese** - U.S. Grade AA or A, 2500 pounds total, in various forms (loaf/block or shredded).
4. **Margarine** - Bulk, all vegetable, 30-pound cases, 200 units.
5. **Mozzarella Cheese** - Low-moisture part-skim mozzarella, 3000 pounds total.
6. **Tofu** - Firm variety, 700 pounds total.
7. **Sugar Substitute** - Non-carbohydrate options in individual packets, 3000 count per case.
8. **Applesauce** - Canned in #10 cans, 112 cans per case.
9. **Beans (various types)** - Including black beans (canned and dry), garbanzo beans (canned), kidney beans (canned), lentils (dry), and pinto beans (dry).
10. **Coffee** - Ground coffee in 20-pound cases.
11. **Biscuit Mix** - Powdered mix in 50-pound bags.
12. **Spices and Seasonings** - Including black pepper, brown sugar, cajun seasoning, chili powder, garlic powder among others.
13. **Frozen Vegetables** - Including broccoli and corn.
14. **Tortillas** - Corn tortillas and flour tortillas in specified sizes.

The products will be delivered to the Danbury Federal Correctional Institution located in Danbury, Connecticut.
