DESCRIPTION:

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Uzbekistan will launch the solicitation on the https://uz.usembassy.gov/embassy/tashkent/procurement-and-contracting/ website when it is available.

All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on December 18, 2024.

The Contractor shall provide Diesel Generator Preventive Maintenance Services in safe, reliable and efficient operating condition. The Contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel, and as well as all necessary transportation, equipment, tools, repair parts, supplies and materials required to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as required to maintain the elevators in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Under this contract the Contractor shall provide:

the services of a trained, certified, generator mechanic on a quaterly basis to check and repair equipment operation and perform scheduled and preventive maintenance;

24 hours/day, 7 days/week emergency response service;

appropriate, same day, service in response to an elevator malfunction trouble call; and

after-hours emergency minor adjustment callback service

Advance payments are not authorized.

Successful offerors shall be registered with the SAM (accessed through www.sam.gov) prior to contract award.

Again, this solicitation will be issued via this website - no paper copies will be mailed.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan is seeking to provide Diesel Generator Preventive Maintenance Services to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of their diesel generators.
