Description

Enclosed is a request for quotations (RFQ) for one right-hand drive official vehicle, locally made passenger van with backup camera. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter.

The U.S. government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price, technically acceptable, in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. We intend to

award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

Quotations are due by Aug 04, 2026 no later than 16:00 hours (Bangkok local time). No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted.

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Bangkok is seeking to procure one right-hand drive, locally manufactured passenger van equipped with a backup camera for official travel within Thailand.
This procurement aims to replace an existing vehicle and ensure compliance with local regulations and procurement requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following:
- One right-hand drive locally made passenger van, 15 seats with backup camera.
- Specifications include:

- Transmission: 6-speed Automatic
- Fuel Tank Capacity: 70-80 liters
- Exterior Color: Silver (preference for Toyota Commuter)
- Safety Features: 3 SRS Airbags, ABS, EBD, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)
