19th Air Force Introductory Flight Training Rotary (IFT-R) Industry Day Announcement

24 March 2022

Air Education and Training Command, in concert with the 19th Air Force, will host a IFT-R Industry Day to provide an overview of the current state of Air Force rotary flying training and areas where 19th Air Force is seeking industry's insight and perspective to improve the United States Air Force's (USAF) Pilot Production programs. This event intends to promote specific areas of interest, promote an early exchange of information, and provide an opportunity for both the Government and industry to gather more information about existing or future capabilities.

The USAF has determined that this meeting for execution expectations of Introductory Flight Training Rotary (IFT-R) is a more viable means to engage industry partners, in efforts to identify an effective means to address rotary pilot production. This approach provides the Government an opportunity to discuss training expectations and innovative rotary platform approaches to meet a sound IFT-R program. A formal Request for Information (RFI) with objectives was released for the IFT-R (50 Hour) effort Feb 2022.

The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any attendee for presentations, marketing efforts, or data offered for examination.

Industry partners who are not able to attend the Industry Day may still obtain a copy of the presentation materials. Simply register for the event and slides will be sent out to all who are eligible.
